WEST SIDE CUBS YOUTH ORGANIZATION
Each year, the WEST SIDE CUBS have been providing services to over 600 young boys and girls with the appropriate tools to play football and compete in the arena of cheerleading. Since 1957 we have served over 50,000 youth. Many of these young people come from disadvantaged homes where violence, poverty, abuse, alcoholism and chaotic home milieus are the norm. These young people are at risk and are in need of an environment that will provide structure and safety. The WEST SIDE CUBS provides that safe haven for many of Detroit’s youth.

Our Services
Football Ages 5-14

Football start at the ages of 5 and up to 14 years of age. With being taught the fundamentals and techniques of the game, we have been able to send a great number of athletes to the next level with the knowledge of the game. Registration goes towards equipment and uniform rental, insurance, league fees, banquet, and field maintenance.
Cheerleading Ages 5-14

We offer our 5-14 year old young ladies technique and fundamentals for them to use in the next levels. Our professional instructors not only teach cheer and dance but the life lessons that our young ladies can carry throughout life.
